| ♥ Dalhousie : |
Located in the skyscraping Dhauladhar mountain range of Himachal Pradesh and abounded in natural splendours, Dalhousie is simply bewitching. The town was founded and named after Lord Dalhousie, the British Governor General, so the entrancing reminiscences of British architecture that are omnipresent, are an appendage to the breathtaking splendour of this place. Not just a place but a mood in itself, Dalhousie is the live picture of perfect bliss- the serenity of untainted nature that prevails everywhere, warm and amiable people, tidy winding streets leading to uphill and down, lush green meadows, breathtaking landscape, captivating town, and a plenty of stay options. Life flows nonchalantly, and you'll be taken aback by the tranquility that is discernible on affable faces of the people of this place. This is the serenity of this land that is reflected in every smiling face, which is palpable in the mellifluous tunes of the flute that echoes in the mountains- Dalhousie is all serenity. Just have a break from your engrossed life for a tryst with the nature at its best.

| ♥ Darjeeling : |
Forming the mountainous segment of otherwise plane West Bengal, Darjeeling is the home to out-of-the-ordinary charisma. In the proximity are the skyscraping mountain peaks of the Himalayas- Kanchenjunga and Mt. Everest, which become visible on a clear and sunny day. Standing atop Tiger Hill, the loftiest point of the place, and getting a view of the neighbouring snowcapped summits is an enlivening experience. The whole of the mountain range experiences profuse rainfall especially during the monsoons, which leaves the valley lush green, as if a dark green carpet has been laid over the valley. The altitude and the bountiful rainfall throughout the year make Darjeeling a congenial environment for tea cultivation. The tea plants spread all over the valley add to the charm of the breathtaking scenery. The place also entices daring and sinewy folks for adventure sports like trekking, rock climbing, mountaineering and river rafting.

| ♥ Kodaikannal : |
Tamilnadu has an amazingly multifarious topography- tranquil beaches and bracing hill stations both in one state are not common to come across. About a 100 kilometers drive from Madurai and a dizzying altitude of over 2000 meters, Kodaikannal represents the other facet of Tamilnadu. Situated at the Palani Hills in the Western Ghats and founded by the Americans (unlike most towns founded by the British), this small town embodies picturesque landscape and a varied terrain. The star attraction is the star-shaped lake, where one can boat around, and fishing is not tabooed for a change. Bear Shola Falls and the Silver cascades are noted cataracts, which are cool and refreshing. Taking a walk around is one of the main leisure options; in fact several tracks in the hill station have become popular as 'Walks', Coaker's Walk and Priest's Walk being the most famed ones. And if you revel in treading off the beaten track, you can set sail to Pillar Rocks or to Perumal Peak for trekking and rock climbing. Several luxurious stay options are at your feet. A perfect place to escape to from the madding crowd of the city.
