 ♥ Allepey :

The Venice of the East. This backwater country is the home to magnetizing palm-fringed beaches and variegated flora and fauna that hold one spellbound. Offering some breathtaking vistas of the tranquil Arabian Sea, Allepey is the land of absolute calm and matchless charisma. Cruising along the backwaters in a boat is a consummate experience and offers scenic panoramas around. And as you cruise through the backwaters, you come across the natives rowing their boats with everyday commodities- boats serve as the transport medium here since the whole of Allepey is a framework of canals and backwaters. Sea beach, though not as big as others in India, is enchanting. The north of the beach, also called the Arthunkal Beach, has the potential of emerging as an international holiday resort. The annual 'Snake Boat Race' is an event worth watching. Allepey makes a consummate place for a secluded honeymoon.

 ♥ Mount Abu :

A verdant oasis in the desert of Rajasthan- it's not a mirage, it's verity. A lush green hill station located in the southern Aravalis, Mount Abu is like a gem in the desert. Opulent flora and fauna render the place a cool and reposing weather. The deep blue Nakki Lake embellishes the town to perfection. With the distinction of being the only hill station of otherwise desert Rajasthan, Mount Abu is renowned for the array of exquisite Dilwara temples, which date back to the 11th century and are the reminiscence of India's transcendent art and architecture. Famous Sunset Point provides a breathtaking view of the sunset in Mount Abu. The nearby Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is also worth a visit, which also encompasses Guru Shikhar, the loftiest point in Mount Abu. The town bazaar is always bustling with life. Achalgarh fort and Adhar Devi temple are other interesting places to visit. Mount Abu offers an exquisite honeymoon experience.

 ♥ Renuka Ji :

Though not as illustrious, due to its small size apparently, as many other renowned destinations in Himachal Pradesh, yet the place makes a consummate place for a secluded honeymoon. Consummate because you'll find just about everything you dream of- a picturesque placid lake that bears a soothing effect on the onlooker, a nonchalant mountain creek flowing nearby with see-through clear water, hills and knolls laden with blooming trees, a lion safari and a zoo, and cool and fragrant breeze blowing almost incessantly that fills your heart with an unearthly repose. The tranquil Renuka Ji Lake, which boasts the distinction of being the largest natural lake in Himachal Pradesh, is the key cynosure for tourists as well as for religious people, who flock the place throughout the year for having a dip in the sacred lake. Mythology has it that the lake is the embodiment of Goddess Renuka, the mother of Lord Parshuram. And though the place is small, you'll find all the facilities at your feet- Hotel Renuka is the perfect place to lodge at just by the side of the lake, and also boasts a modish restaurant where almost all the famous cuisines are served. A three-star hotel is just a five-minutes drive away.
They say-'Great things come in small packages'. Visit Renuka Ji, and you'll find the maxim vindicated.
